Great detail but the dramatizations are godawful.

The dramatizations are cringe- inducing. Interesting, though.

Pretty intense. I'm Class 95 and was in residency at Texas Children's back I'm 99 so I didn't see much of the footage back then. I still treasure my Bonfire memories though.

I wish they would have shown the picture of Tim on the program tonight, but understood why they didn't

JP's image is a tear jerker. Even for someone who didn't get to campus until 5 years after.

I was in high school. My friend's (eventually my roommate on campus) sister was supposed to be at stack that night. She called right after it fell and we loaded up and drove to CS. A sight I'll never forget.

Those images from JP Beato's site bring back a flood of memories. I'm in the 5th picture down, with all the guys holding their pots up. Bottom left with cap on backwards. I was in Moore Hall and we all went out to help. We were being grouped up to start moving logs right at that moment. I haven't seen that picture in probably 15 years.

The wife, who is not an Aggie, but came with me to the memorial service at Kyle that night, brought up an interesting point.

While the dramatizations were meh, it did allow people some perspective on the entire thing. Just how big bonfire was, the stories that we all knew following it minute by minute, etc. Sure it's crappy acting, but what dramatization isn't?

I thought they did a great job telling stories, and it painted our darkest hour in a human light that I felt like brought dignity to the 12 that perished, to the rescue efforts, to the student body and the best damned university on the planet.

As Junk stated on the pay board I think, I too would have liked to seen all the names listed of the 12. But overall, it was well done IMO.

Finally got to see it, no thanks to Jerkhead...you should know us mellenials need to be handed everything!

Very eye opening for this student, who has only heard stories over the years. Must have been unbelievably scary for those trapped and helpless.

I'm so proud to be part of this amazing University.
