No way there is ever a rematch. Pacquiao had to take a 40-60 split of the purse just to get Mayweather to agree to this fight.

Haha, I say that after every PPV event I purchase. The last time I was happy with shelling out the money was the Tyson/Evander ear bite fight. That was worth it

The UFC was also a big winner tonight. I abandoned boxing for MMA a few years ago, and this fight reminded me why. Watching boxing again tonight was like an NBA fan trying to watch the WNBA. Purists will argue that it's more technically sound, but it's a lot more boring, too.

having casually watched the fight tonight and a UFC fight sometime ago, I agree with this conclusion, MMA is much more chaotic and brutal, which is what most want in a fight.

You people are crazy. It was a fun fight and worth the buy, if nothing else because the first fight was great. I was ruined for nearly a decade by having paid for Holyfield vs Lewis I. This wasn't fixed and was highly entertaining from the standpoint of watching expert craftsmanship squaring off in opposition.
