THIS. Good lord, dude, get over yourself. Sounds like they had some basic questions that they wanted answered to determine if an in-person interview is worth both their time AND yours, and you decided that unless they're willing to roll out the carpet and kiss your ass, they can all go to hell.

Also, do you really go around calling people "mate"? If so, is there any way that I can get your name or something so that I can be sure that my company never hires you thereby avoiding us ever being in the same room?

The fact that you have to try and subtly humblebrag about any and everything on the ****ing TexAgs General Board to try and feel important is why you're a tool. People get offers from headhunters everyday... wow. So impressive.

You have no idea what I do or the generation I fall into. But I promise you, I've written my own ticket and worked extremely hard for everything I've ever gotten. The difference is I don't go talking about it to people I don't know to stroke myself off.

And I've found without fail, most people that do so... are absolutely full of ****.

And as for the Headhunters, I really don't feel, bad for any of them. Obviously Herbie Hancock continued an illustrious career, but Harvey Mason, Paul Jackson and even flautist Bennie Maupin went on to play with other greats, and have varied and celebrated catalogs. They're doing fine.
