USC is always nice.

Upon inspection the cross-stitching by Michigan State utilizes the Riften technique developed in the late 1940's. Rarely used in contemporary times, I think it adds to the gameday atmosphere.

Those are the UC Song Girls, not cheerleaders. It's a common mistake. USC has Song Girls and Spirit Leaders.

The difference is the Song Girls don't do all the cheerleading stuff - Spirit Girls do - so the Song Girls can just pick pretty girls instead of the athletic girls most schools have to select.

If you ever look closely at games, you'll see both.

Actually I'm dead on. There's a reason the USC Song Girls are so hot - they don't have to do all the gymnastics stuff and hence can have better figures.
