OK. enough.
The ventura thing most likely did happen. The jury decided against a lot of testimony, in favor of Kyle's story, because the witnesses were drunk/ drinking heavily after a wake for a fallen team member. In fact, there are interviews with the jurors who basically claimed that even though 11 folks backed Kyle, they were all in varying states of inebriation and none saw the exact same thing. (some claim they saw the punch, some saw ventura on the ground after the punch, etc) Now, this makes perfect sense to me as it was in a very crowded bar, happened and was over in an instant. Unless all 11 were watching that exact instant, of course they would see different stages, but whatever.
But multiple sources, including civilians, SEALs, a SEAL Lt. Cmdr, both former and active said 'yes' the fight did happen. So you can choose to believe ALL these folks are lying or not, but this was legal testimony, under oath. And I just can't logically get on board that so many people in a culture so engrained with personal honor and integrity would all lie about Jessie 'who gives a ****. I'm an insane conspiracy theory addict.' Ventura.
