I love 'off' night racing so much. I know due to weather they can't really plan to have a Monday night race but I wish 2 or 3 times a year they would work the schedule where the cup guys race on Thursday or Friday night if they had the previous week off (plenty of time to re schedule if it rains) or a Monday night race before a weekend off.

I'm sure the major concern is attendance but if done right with scheduling and attached to holiday weekends I think they could do it.

Been wondering where Busch went and looks like he correctly backed out for a while and avoided the chaos. He's had the best car tonight and think he prevails.

He also hit the wall earlier and pitted with the Toyotas, so he was back there with them.

He pitted with Denny alone. The wall slap didn't hurt him too bad before he hit pit lane. We shall see.

I'm going to go with Chase Elliott here for the win.

Call me a mark, or a product of being a 90's/00's kid with the metal militia and X Games but sucked to see Deegan get caught up in that.

I don't have a ton of confidence in her ability yet, though she was pretty damn good on ARCA, but that was bad luck after an entire truck season of either bad racing or bad luck.

Nascar could definitely use Hailee being somewhat good. Hopefully it's typical Daytona for her and she is able to compete somewhat this season.

Just finished watching the 500 on the recording. My man Bowman coming in second. Would have made it really close if the start/finish line was down the trioval like it is in 'Dega.

Great kickoff to the season. Glad we're underway.

Also, Harvick was great in the booth. Provided a ton of insight and actually seemed to calm Clint down some. Win win.

Happy with the finish. I am glad Hamlin and Wallace didn't win.

Just saw that last night was the first ever time that William Byron finished a Daytona 500. Everyone prior was a DNF.
