Sam should just win the US Open so he doesn't need to worry about qualifying through KFT
Sam has it back to E and is currently sitting top 20.

They changed it a couple of years ago that points earned at the us open count for Korn ferry points.
I doubt the tricked up greens get easier as the day goes on and they bake out. Sam finishing up the last 2 holes strong and getting into the clubhouse in negative numbers puts him in great position for the rest of the tournament.

T21 entering the weekend… tees off at 1:18. Who knows what's gonna happen on this course over the weekend. Hopefully he keeps it going and picks up some nice points.

He's in trouble on 11. drive went right and he had to pitch out to get back on the fw. Approach went short into the front left bunker. Lousey shot out and he's left with 22 ft for bogey.
Tough finish. Dang.

Rough last couple days. Going to need to find some consistency over 4 rounds to get his tour card. A little outside the top 30 so going to need some good finishes.
Seems like he really needs to work on his conditioning and strengthen.
His last two tourneys he has spiraled on the last two days. Not sure if it's mental, conditioning or what but whatever it is he is going to have to fix to get his card this year.

I was going to post that he appears to be having stamina issues, but others beat me to it.
I can't tell if it's physical or mental. That course will definitely beat you down!
Didn't he mention something about this after last year's US Open? I seem to remember him playing very well to make the cut then fading badly on Saturday and Sunday (but I'm too lazy to look it up).
