Same, I moved out of TX weeks after graduation and didn't move back to TX for 15 years. Any return trip involved a stop for pizza rolls and to this day they're still one of my favorite things.

Mmmmm pizza rolls, though every DD's I have been too since swears there has only ever been pepperoni and just cheese versions. But when I was there we always caught the buffet over on what is now George Bush and they had rolls that were just about a match for each pizza offering. Including Sausage, Supreme, veggie, and even a buffalo chicken. That was 89 and 90. Am I just misremembering or has the variety been knocked down?

Edit to add the glorious greatness of fat burger late night delivery 5 bucks was a monster loaded with all the trimmings cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. Was the best late night delivery option around. Close second would be Gumby's.

The Texan, Luby's, Youngblood's & Tom's BBQ. The peanuts at the Peanut Gallery were especially filling.
