Billy Idol's Rebel Yell album came out 40 years ago. He's released an expanded edition and I've heard a few songs from it. Here he is, 68 years old and still rocking! He needs to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of fame!

i remember my oldest sister going to that concert/tour and the tshirt she got.
I remember when this first came out I thought it was pretty cheesy (I was 100% listening to thrash metal and grind core at the time). Then I carpooled with this guy several years later for work over the summer (I was 16ish) and we had a 30+ minute drive and it was literally the only thing he played. Wouldn't say I love it, but definitely grew on me and now I have a sentimental tie to it. 40 years ago, Wow!
Saw him at the House of Blues in Vegas in Mandalay Bay. Small venue, he killed it! That was in 2016 so he was 60 here.
Saw him at thesands.rocks a few years ago and he was great live!

That was pretty damn good performance. A bit modernized version and he sounded great.

Parts of her are 42. Very few parts.

Saw Billy Idol on the Rebel Yell Tour in '84 or '85 in San Antonio (think it was at Hemisphere). I was 16ish at the time. The women that were in attendance for that show had my eyes popping out my head. It was awesome! The concert was good, too.
I bought that cassette in Germany or Austria or somewhere. I was on a Europe trip at age 17 and wanted a new tape listen to on my Walkman for the flight back.
Being into Rush and VH and metal bands, I wasn't sure I would like it, but it's really a solid listen all the way through.
