The Aggies could not take advantage of a dominant outing by Stephen Kolek and fell to the Volunteers, 5-3, in 14 innings. Throughout the game, A&M failed to string together timely hits and went scoreless after the fifth inning.

Texas A&M came up short on Sunday against the Volunteers due to a lack of run production. Though the Aggie pitching staff had a solid day, the Maroon and White simply missed too many opportunities in game three.
