Though the weekend ended with a disappointing extra-inning loss to Tennessee, the Aggies claimed another SEC series against the Vols. Some real offensive concerns remain, but A&M continues to climb the SEC standings behind reliable arms and defense.

It wasn't pretty, but Texas A&M managed to find a way to take down the Volunteers on Friday. Thanks to Braden Shewmake's timely hitting, Brigham Hill's tenacity on the mound and Cole Bedford's strong performance, the Aggies got another SEC win.

Tennessee's Hunter Martin dominated the Aggie bats for most of Friday's afternoon contest, but Braden Shewmake and George Janca came up with timely hits to push Texas A&M past the Vols. Brigham Hill threw seven scoreless innings in the win.
