Texas A&M adds former San Diego State EDGE Ryan Henderson via transfer portal
The Aggies have added another piece to their 2026 defensive roster today with the commitment of San Diego State EDGE Ryan Henderson from the transfer portal.
He's the ninth addition for Mike Elko and staff during this January window.
A product of Canyon Springs High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, the 6-foot-3, 255-pounder has shown a steady progression during his collegiate career. He appeared in only five games as a freshman in 2023. However, his role greatly increased in the following two campaigns. As a sophomore, he was in nine contests and logged 2.5 sacks. Last fall, he broke out as a force in the Mountain West, recording nine tackles for loss and seven sacks.
In his career, Henderson has accumulated 12.5 TFLs and 10.5 sacks.
He comes to Aggieland with one year of eligibility remaining.
