An SMU legend and former NFL running back, Craig James joined Friday's edition of TexAgs Live to talk about the Pony Express Award, created by him and Eric Dickerson to recognize the best tandem or duo of college football players, naming a few of A&M's potential suitors.

  • Eric Dickerson and I have remained friends since we met in high school about 50 years ago, and we were able to compete together at a high level as the “Pony Express” to the point that we wanted to create an award that celebrates college football's best tandem. We celebrate that in a "me" era. With SMU coming back to prominence in recent years, we decided to launch this award.
