A Week 11 without Texas A&M football is behind us, and now, we look towards Week 12, which features the No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies hosting the New Mexico State Aggies at Kyle Field. You’d better believe that I have a play in that game, but if you’re having trouble navigating the rest of the college football board this week, I am here to help. Let’s find some winners.

*Numbers are subject to change*

Aggie of the Week

RB Amari Daniels
MORE THAN 1 MILLION Rushing Yards
Anytime there is a team that is a 39.5-point underdog, you have to give the running backs of the favored team a look. I understand that there may be some pieces shifting around in the backfield to give Amari Daniels some support. However, he is still the bell cow in this backfield, and it is not crazy to think that he could have 100+ yards at halftime, given that NMSU has allowed 5.0 yards per carry this season.

Lineup of the Week

Anthony Smith, WR, East Carolina
MORE THAN 0.5 Rush + Receiving TDs
Since the change at the QB position, Anthony Smith has been a heat-seeking missile, finding the endzone in each of the last three games he has played in. Tulsa also ranks 131st in the country in points allowed per game with 38.4 points. If the Pirates score five touchdowns, I anticipate one of them being from Smith.

Cooper Legas, QB, Tulsa
MORE THAN 209.5 Passing Yards
Cooper Legas has played good enough football these last two games to warrant my belief that he will have MORE THAN 209.5 passing yards. A gunslinger at heart, the former Utah State quarterback averages well over 210 yards when he throws 30+ passes in a game. As 14-point underdogs, I anticipate that Tulsa will put the ball in the air many times.

Taylen Green, QB, Arkansas
MORE THAN 25.5 Rushing Yards
Everyone knows Green is very explosive in the run game when he’s healthy. The problem occurs when he faces a very strong pass rush. I am not convinced that Texas has a pass rush that rivals that of Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU or Ole Miss. Even if Green is “banged up,” his legs are an important part of the formula for the Razorbacks to win.

Cole Snyder, QB, Eastern Michigan
MORE THAN 205.5 Passing Yards
Snyder is playing really good football and is racking up the numbers. However, the Ohio Bobcats have been easily one of the better defenses in the MAC. The closest comparable defense that the Eagles have played all season is Miami (OH), and Snyder put up 211 passing yards on the Redhawks. If Ohio goes up early, Snyder may have to use his arm to come back in this one.

Carson Beck, QB, Georgia
LESS THAN 261.5 Passing Yards
Beck has struggled against several good opponents this season. Tennessee is no slouch on the defensive side of the football, either. Tennessee is 15th in the country in passing yards allowed per game and has held every quarterback, besides Arkansas’ Taylen Green, to less than this number. With a potentially injured Nico Iamaleava, Tennessee may also elect to run the ball frequently, which will consequently give Beck less time and opportunities to reach this number.

Other Dawson Selections

Quintrevion Wisner, RB, Texas - MORE THAN 66.5 Rushing Yards
Katin Houser, QB, East Carolina - LESS THAN 299.5 Passing Yards
Taylen Green, QB, Arkansas - MORE THAN 0.5 INT
Ben Finley, QB, Akron - LESS THAN 198.5 Passing Yards
Caleb Goodie, WR, Colorado State - MORE THAN 44.5 Receiving Yards
