One of the best left tackles in NFL history. Should be in the Hall of Fame. Marino said having Webb protecting his blind side added at least three years to his career.

Catching up with Aggie legend and former Dolphins OL Richmond Webb
Key notes from Richmond Webb interview
- Starting the 2021 season, the defense will be a little bit ahead of the offense for Jimbo and company. The offense had some turnover after last season, which offers opportunities for younger guys to step up.
- Jimbo Fisher and his style definitely remind me of when I was there. I also really appreciate how inviting he has been to former players. He always makes you feel welcome in Aggieland as a former player, and that means a lot. Jimbo's recruiting is top-notch, and that's what it takes to compete at the highest level and win championships. We are heading in the right direction.
- I was at Texas A&M for five seasons, and I NEVER lost to the University of Texas. We ended their season every single year with a loss. That was great for me. I think one of my favorite things is the ties to A&M that you establish. I became great friends with Hunter Goodwin when I was with the Dolphins. You would've thought that we were on the same team together with the bond that we had. That bond was all tied to Texas A&M.
- What made Coach Sherrill so special is how he would always help us set goals and emphasize the importance of us achieving those goals as a team. He built that up throughout the summer, and by the time we got to the season, the culture was built, and we were ready to compete at the highest level. In doing that, the relationship I built with him still lasts to this day.
- Everybody knew who Bucky Richardson was back in the day at Texas A&M. Against Southern Miss; he got an opportunity and went out there and made an 80-yard scramble that really caught everyone's attention. Bucky was always looking for contact, which is so rare for a quarterback. He was a great quarterback and a great leader for our team.
- The guy that I really looked up to when I was at A&M was Johnny Holland. The All-American linebacker hosted me on my visit, so we always had a great relationship. I always looked up to the older guys. When I transitioned to offense, guys like Louis Cheek took me under their wing and took care of me. We were a very close group.
- When I got to Miami, Dan Marino was my mentor. The connection that we each had was that we were both coached in college by Coach Sherrill. It was great to have someone like him as a mentor to show me how to be a professional.
