2022 DT Alex VanSumeren impressed with virtual visit to Texas A&M

The recruiting process began early for Essexville (MI) Garber defensive tackle Alex VanSumeren‍. The first offer arrived the spring of his freshman year, and he committed to Michigan following his sophomore season.

His commitment never halted the college attention, and in February of 2021, he re-opened his recruiting process. Shortly after he announced his open status, Texas A&M was among the many programs to place an offer on the table.
