Aggies land verbal commitment from Brooklyn (NY) DE Jahzion Harris

The northeastern part of the United States is becoming a fertile recruiting ground for Texas A&M under Jimbo Fisher. From Andre White to Isaiah Raikes and Fadil Diggs, the Maroon & White is becoming a major player for the best players in that region of the country, and that trend continued today as Brooklyn (NY) DE Jahzion Harris‍ has given his verbal pledge to the Aggies.

Harris’ addition to the class moves the 2021 group total to five, and he’s the first commit on the defensive line for Terry Price, Elijah Robinson and Mike Elko. Harris ended up choosing the Aggies over Michigan, LSU, Ohio State and Rutgers.

At 6-4, 220 pounds, Jahzion has the potential to be an elite pass rusher. His frame is outstanding and looks like another 25-30 pounds will stick to him pretty quickly. His arsenal of pass rush moves is rather advanced for a high school prospect as well. He’s an easy bender that shows dexterity off the edge to go along with a fantastic first step. Harris also plays with a high motor and consistently chases the football to the other side of the field. Take a look at his junior tape below.
