Aggies land commitment from 2021 Grandview ATH Dametrious Crownover

The Aggies continue to build momentum in their 2021 class with Grandview (TX) ATH Dametrious Crownover‍ making the call to follow in his brother Earnest’s footsteps and pledge his football and academic future to Texas A&M.

The 6-6, 275 pounder excels on both sides of the ball for the back-to-back state champion Zebras. His height and frame still show room for growth while maintaining high-end athleticism. While he plays both sides of the ball in high school, his ideal projection and higher ceiling in college is at tight end. He has a basketball background, which is visible on the gridiron with his nimble feet and plus body control. Dametrious becomes the 16th verbal pledge in the class of 2021, and he is the second commitment in the last week. He chose A&M over offers from Texas, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan, Alabama, Baylor, Auburn and a host of others. Tight ends coach James Coley has been leading the Aggies’ recruiting efforts.
