Limiting big plays on defense, correcting mistakes critical for Texas A&M

October 21, 2019

A few mistakes can erase a multitude of successes.

The Trojans built power city but then accepted a giant wooden horse as a gift from the gods. Napoleon almost conquered Europe but invaded Moscow in winter. Russia became the world’s largest country but sold Alaska.

Though obviously not as historic, five errors threatened to ruin an otherwise successful showing by Texas A&M’s run defense in a 24-17 victory over Ole Miss last Saturday.

A&M’s defense had an almost 90 percent success rate when the Rebels ran the football.
