The Aggies have dipped back into the Volunteer State today to add to their steadily growing 2020 recruiting class as Smyrna (TN) DT Dallas Walker‍ has committed to Texas A&M. Overall, his pledge moves the total commit number to 13, and he joins New Jersey native Isaiah Raikes‍ on the inside of the defensive line haul for Elijah Robinson.

At 6-4, 315 pounds, Walker is an anchor on the defensive interior. He plays with great leverage, strong hands and a sturdy, solid base. He can also really run for a big guy, and he shows off his athleticism on the first play of his junior highlight tape where he catches a ball at tight end and takes it down the seam for a 40-yard touchdown reception. In fact, there are a lot of plays on tape of him lining up at tight end, wide receiver and running down on special teams. You don’t see that often from a defensive tackle prospect. You can view Walker’s junior film below.

Walker officially visited College Station in early June which is when the Aggies really grabbed a hold of the top spot for him. He picks A&M over scholarship offers from programs like Oklahoma, Auburn, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Missouri, Ole Miss and Virginia Tech.
