The Aggies have landed their running back for the 2019 recruiting class today as Klein Collins standout Isaiah Spiller has committed to Texas A&M. Spiller becomes the 22nd Aggie pledge this recruiting cycle.

Spiller originally planned on waiting to announce his commitment sometime during the first few weeks of the football season. However, the Maroon & White momentum on the recruiting trail and Spiller’s relationship with running backs coach Jay Graham have resulted in today’s news. Isaiah chose A&M over Oklahoma. He was previously committed to the Sooners until he backed away from that pledge in April. Spiller also held offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Michigan St, Nebraska, Michigan and many others.

As a junior, Spiller rushed for nearly 1,300 yards with 23 touchdowns. He also scored 4 times as a receiver. You can view his junior tape here:

A versatile, do-it-all back, Spiller is the son of former Texas A&M TE Fred Spiller.
