Aggies land pledge from 2019 Waxahachie safety Demani Richardson
For the second time in less than a month, Waxahachie safety Demani Richardson made his way to Texas A&M, and this time around he decided he was ready to announce his commitment.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound defender is known as a rangy enforcer in the secondary and has developed into one of the top prospects in the state.
He joins Brian Williams and Bobby Wolfe in Texas A&M’s 2019 defensive back class and he is the seventh commitment of the recruiting class.
As a junior, Richardson earned First Team All-District and Honorable Mention All-State honors at Waxahachie. He is also a member of the basketball team.
Richardson is currently ranked No. 9 in the TexAgs Texas 2019 Top 100.
