Turnovers, poor rebounding hurt Aggies in loss to Tennessee, 75-62
Once in the top five, Texas A&M suffered its fifth consecutive Southeastern Conference basketball loss as the Aggies fell 75-62 to No. 24 Tennessee on Saturday at Thompson-Boling Arena in Knoxville.
The Aggies (11-6, 0-5) were plagued by 17 turnovers and gave up 14 offensive rebounds as their once-promising season continued to deteriorate. Tennessee scored 22 points off those turnovers and 11 on second chances.
It was the first time Texas A&M lost five consecutive games since Jan.
