Texas A&M receives pledge from 2019 Coppell K Caden Davis

Over the weekend, the Aggies became the first to extend an offer to 2019 Coppell kicker Caden Davis (6-1, 185 pounds), and he knew it was special when he received it. After taking some time to think over his decision, he decided he was ready to make his college commitment.

Davis recently took unofficial visits to College Station for the Alabama and the Auburn games. He grew up going to games with his father, who also attended Texas A&M.

As a junior in 2017, he is 47 of 47 on PATs and is 12 of 16 on FGs with a long of 51. He is also averaging 40 yards per punt. He is being recruiting to Texas A&M as a kicker and also received interest from TCU and Arkansas.

He is currently ranked the nation’s No. 4 2019 kicker by Kohl’s Kicking, and he is the third member of the Aggies’ 2019 recruiting class, joining quarterback Grant Gunnell and wide receiver Chase Lane.
