Texas A&M looking to cap typical strong start with late-season success

Now, it begins.

The football season, of course, is half completed. But the real season is just starting. In six weeks (or seven if you count the open date) Texas A&M can prove it can indeed follow a fast start with a strong finish and end a string of three consecutive 8-5 football seasons.

Coach Kevin Sumlin’s job may depend on it.

The Aggies are 4-2 and coming off an impressive effort in a 27-19 loss to No. 1 Alabama. They’re a young team seemingly trending upward.
