Unranked Aggies must improve run defense, OL play to surprise

A scan of the Coaches preseason football poll reveals that Texas A&M is not included in the top 25. Don’t expect to find the Aggies in the AP preseason poll, either. The message is clear. The Aggies aren’t projected to be among the best football teams in the country.

And that’s good.

Preseason polls do not necessarily translate to postseason woes. Being unranked often doesn’t lead to being unsuccessful.
