Championships are to be won. The playoff field is to be chosen. Bowl matchups are to be decided.
Yet, the remaining two games of the college football regular season mean more to one man than anybody else.
Two more wins could – and should – give Ed Orgeron the full-time job as LSU’s head coach.
Since Orgeron replaced Les Miles as LSU’s head coach, the Tigers have gone 4-1 with the lone defeat by 10 points to top-ranked Alabama.
