Virginia Tech tight end Kalvin Cline to transfer to Texas A&M
The dire need at tight end on the Texas A&M roster has been lessened by one.
On Sunday redshirt sophomore Virginia Tech TE Kalvin Cline announced via his private Instagram that he intends to transfer to Aggieland after his graduation in May.
Cline caught 26 passes for 321 yards and two touchdowns in 2013 — his freshman season — before missing most of the 2014 season with injury and receiving a medical redshirt. He had three receptions for 38 yards last year.
He'll arrive in College Station with two years of eligibility.
Cline was also a member of Virginia Tech's Corps of Cadets.
