Tuesday recruiting tidbits
-The 2020 Ft Bend ISD OL Akinola Ogunbiyi and Smart Chibuzo left campus yesterday as high as a kid could be on Texas A&M. From what I understand, they have let more than a couple folks know that they'd like to play their college football in College Station. Now, whether they officially announce their commitment is a different deal. We had been hearing it could be soon, but from talking to Chibuzo, it seems like at least he may wait a little bit. In the end, they both want to make sure they're making the right decision if they choose this early. Ogunbiyi has seen the offers rolls in over the last couple of weeks, and Chibuzo probably isn't far behind in that aspect either. The recent influx of offers has had a big influence on Ogunbiyi. I still expect both to be Aggies.-A&M commit DeMarvin Leal and CB target Marcus Banks will officially visit Alabama in mid June. This isn't unexpected, and the coaching staff knows about Leal's visits way ahead of time. Remember, up to this point in his time at A&M, Jimbo Fisher has done well against the Crimson Tide on the recruiting trail. -I believe you'll see a few of the Aggies' recent QB offers on campus this summer, and some will likely participate in camps. I've heard KJ Jefferson, Zach Calzada, and Lance LeGendre are all strong possibilities.
