Aggies doing some work in Tennessee - quotes added
Yesterday Texas A&M offered 2019 CB Woodi Washington and today they offered 2019 DE Ani Izuchukwu https://twitter.com/izuchukwuani12/status/921467287529455616The Aggies offered Nashville (TN) Davidson Academy 2019 defensive end Ani Izuchukwu today. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defender is nicknamed King Ani and he has only been playing football for two years. He is originally from Nigeria, where he played basketball and soccer. Now, football is his sport, but he does play soccer for fun and to stay in shape. He is a midfielder in case any of you are wondering.Defensive coordinator John Chavis is leading the Aggies' efforts, and he was excited to receive the news of the Texas A&M offer. "Man, it's awesome. It's awesome. It's great. I was excited about it you know, and for them keeping their eyes on me that's awesome. Since I got here I've been working hard and doing my best in class and school and God has been with me and I've been offered by a lot of great schools. This program, I'm telling you the truth, it's not by my power, it's by God's grace everything that's happening."As for the A&M program, he already very familiar with a couple of former standouts."Texas A&M is a great school. It's a big, good school who produces a lot of good defensive ends. Like they produced the No. 1 pick last year, Myles Garrett, and they produced I think it was No. 2 Von Miller also. Mostly my favorite is Von. Von is like my role model and I watch his video all the time trying to be like him. He's a great pass rusher and strong and athletic just like I am. I just have to keep my head down and listen to the coaches and put in that work and I believe everything will be alright."Izuchukwu has not been to College Station, but he was in Gainesville last weekend."The ball team is crazy. The ball team is tough. That was a great game," Izuchukwu said. "The two defensesdang, that was really great. Them coming out with a big W, that was great for them."He hopes to take an unofficial visit to Texas A&M in the future. He has already taken unofficial visits to Alabama, Florida, and Ohio State and he says the Buckeyes have been staying in touch the most. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/5572475/5721e885041ddc1b007f4f7c

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
