The TexAgs.com Texas Top 118 has been updated just in time for the Early Signing Period and there is now a new guy at the top of the list.After a dominating senior season Manvel wide receiver Jalen Preston returns to the top spot in the rankings. He is a big play threat as a receiver and in the return game, and his unique blend of size and athleticism makes him a mismatch whether he is lined up on a linebacker, a safety, or a corner. Preston jumps from No. 3 to No. 1.Houston Episcopal receiver Jaylen Waddle also continues his ascent up the rankings. Waddle's quickness and explosion is unmatched in the state, and he showed that in all three facets of the game this fall. He moves from No. 6 into the top 5 at No. 3.Cy Springs safety Leon O'Neal returns to the top 10, while Arp defender DeMarvion Overshown moves out of the top 5 to spot No. 12. Colten Blanton also received a slight bump after a strong senior season. A couple of guys make their top 20 debut with DB D'Shawn Jamison moving up 9 spots to No. 15 and Keaontay Ingram moving up 8 spots to No. 19.Defensive end Joseph Ossai, cornerback Verone McKinley III, and safety Cam Jones also made significant moves up the ranks and defensive tackle Moro Ojomo and athlete Vernon Jackson both moved into the top 50.
