A Few Army Bowl Recruiting Notes
- Isaac Taylor-Stuart does not know when he plans to take his unofficial visit to A&M in January, but it is something he has mentioned. He's still trying to figure out when and how he will get his official visit to Alabama in. As for Elko, he didn't really know much about Elko. He did know Elko kept USC to a low score while at Notre Dame. He basically said as long as Elko's a good guy, he'll have no problems with him. Taylor-Stuart has one crazy month ahead of him with four official visits and a possible unofficial visit to A&M. Getting him back to College Station before he announces will be key to the Aggies' chances in my opinion.- Leon O'Neal thought the Elko hire was a big change for the Aggies. He said, he's a "beast coach" and he likes the way he challenges and loves his players. He is familiar with Elko from his Notre Dame days, and he liked him with the Irish.- Like I mentioned in the DaShaun White thread, I'm expecting an announcement today and it does not look good for the Aggies. I'm predicting he will be a Sooner at this point.- On a positive note, there was some were quite a few A&M vibes surrounding Jaylen Waddle here in San Antonio. I like A&M's chances right now.

Wednesday recruiting notes from Army Bowl
Corona Centennial QB Tanner McKee has an official visit lined up to Stanford in January and he will play in the Polynesian Bowl on January 20. He is trying to figure out if he can take a few unofficial visits, but he says he doesn't have anything scheduled. After graduating he will take a two-year mission, but he does plan to sign on Signing Day. "It shows I'm actually committed to the school I'm committed to. It's only good for a year, so I'll have to re-sign on my mission. But as long as everything is normal with the school I committed to and the coaching staff is still there and I'm still comfortable, then everything is going to stay the same."The coaching change did impact how he viewed the Aggies, and in a positive way."I was pretty high on A&M originally. I took an official visit there, but I think it raised A&M for me just having coach Fisher there." *********A new prospects to watch is Birmingham (AL) Mountain Brook RB Harold Joiner. LSU was high on his list but the Tigers have filled up. He has an official visit to Auburn the weekend of January 12, and he hoped to know more about his January visit schedule by the end of the week. He says he is wide open to his options right now, and Today he mentioned Texas As &M as a school that has recently shown a lot of attention. He listed Auburn, Texas A&M, UCLA, Florida, and Florida State as the schools who have shown the most interest lately. He has the best relationship with the coaches at Auburn and UCLA.The relationship with coach Fisher and the A&M staff is a new one and both sides are getting a feel for one another, but he did have some positive things to say about the Aggies."They produce great players. A&M is a great school. They're always doing good. I'm not sure how they did last year, or this year, but it's a good program."He did not report an offer from the Aggies at this point. It does sound like Auburn is the school to watch. He will visit there on the 12th and a good visit along with the relationship he has already established with the coaches could move them to the top. Ole Miss has also been linked to him but he says the Rebels are out of the mix right now.*******We've also heard DaShaun White has told people here that he wants to go to A&M as long as it's a DC hire he likes.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
