This week I stopped by Fort Worth Brewer, Tyler Legacy, Garland, and Garland Naaman ForestTexas A&M offers RB Jamarion Miller, Tyler Legacy - checked in at 5-10, 200, and looks like a feature back. Look for the Aggies to get an unofficial visit this summer. He plans to take official visits to Florida, Oklahoma State, and USC, and he has an unofficial visit planned to Alabama. S Chace Biddle, Garland - Biddle has been out for much of the spring with a foot injury, but coaches have been working him in over the last two weeks. In drills this week his foot did not seem to bother him and he looks like he is returning to normal. He has official visits scheduled to Oklahoma and TCU. He had an official scheduled to Texas A&M but is rescheduling it because it is the same weekend as the Under Armour Future 50. He is currently talking to A&M about June 26-28. DT Bear Alexander, Fort Worth Brewer - He was out sick when I stopped by on Tuesday but the coaches were singing his praises as a player and teammate. When he's on defense, they flat out cannot stop him. As I mentioned on Wednesday, he is committed to Georgia and I wouldn't expect that to change any time soon. I also do not expect A&M to back away any time soon either, and I bet we see him in College Station for a visit or two before everything is said and done. DT/OL Markis Deal, Garland Naaman Forest (2023) - Deal is having a bit of a growth spurt. He now checks in at 6-5, 280 and the offers have been rolling in this spring. It is still very early in the process and he is drawing attention on both sides of the ball. He comes from a family of athletes. His father played DL at UTEP, his mother played basketball and volleyball at UTEP, and both are coaches. His brother Devean just signed with Tulane and drew attention at both DE and TE. I also hear he has a couple of younger siblings to watch for down the road. He is a competitor and he is an athlete. They are still trying to figure out their summer travel plans right now, and they are discussing plans to get to College Station. I bet they end up in Aggieland at some point. He can play both S and CB and he plans to visit Texas A&M this summer. He also has plans to camp/visit at Alabama and Clemson. On the radar RB Bryson Donnell, Tyler Legacy - We have been saying it all week, the 5-10.5, 205-pound back can flat out bring it as well. Texas Tech, Colorado, and Arkansas appear to be the favorites right now, but the Aggies are keeping an eye on him. Look for him to camp this summer. Underclassmen to watch OL Justus Perales, Garland Naaman Forest (2023) - 6-3, 250, the son of Naaman Forest head coach Jesse Perales, mean and nasty in the trenches, has a nice frame and room for growth. Put him on your radars. TE Kamorreun Pimpton, Fort Worth Brewer (2023) - 6-foot-6 and 205, and runs a 4.78 40. He plays WR and TE for Brewer but it does not take much imagination to see him as a TE prospect. DE Tim Muhammad, Garland (2023) - 6-4, 225, and can run. ATH Will Washington, Fort Worth Brewer (2023) - 6-3, 180, runs a 4.58 40 and plays both WR and S OL Angel Martinez, Fort Worth Brewer (2023) - 6-4, 250, flexible with a 6-8.5 wingspan DT Gabriel Williams, Garland 2024 - Solidly built 6-2, 255 and has put together a strong spring. Let's talk about this Fort Worth Brewer 2024 class, there's some real strong prospects in this group. Brewer has not won a playoff game in over 30 years, but I bet good money this group changes that before they leave. Many of these guys saw varsity playing time as a freshman and all are equipped with big time tools. WR Keiran Patrick-Daniels is an electric playmaker who can play several spots on the field. Kind of like an Ainias Smith type. ATH Cameron Clay plays WR, TE, DE at 6-2, 190 and clocks a 4.85 40. Mehki Elmore is a 5-10, 180-pound hard hitting nickel/safety-type with great instincts. OL Adrian Lewis checks in at 6-6, 320 and is just tapping into his vast potential. He is light on his feet with plenty of bend and flexibility. LB Elizjah Richardson is already a leader at 5-10, 205 and DB Trey King passes the eye test at 6-1, 165. Sleepers I'm just going to say the Garland Owls have some talent that college coaches should be all over. Chace Biddle and Jordan Hudson draw all the headlines but there is plenty of talent in that 2022 class. QB Cergio Perez headlines this group for me. He recently committed to South Dakota, but this is a FBS prospect if you ask me. He has been a starter since his freshman year and has thrown for over 2,000 yards in two of those years. He missed that mark by 11 yards as a freshman and he has thrown 20 or more TDs all three seasons. RB Jayshon Powers checks in at 6-0, 185 and runs a 4.45 40. He holds offers from Tulane, Illinois State, and Oklahoma State and has been a varsity playmaker since his freshman year. He also runs track and plays basketball. CB Aaron King checks in at 5-11, 170 pounds and he is a wet blanket to WRs on the field. Kansas and Illinois State have offered but he deserves more looks. Then there is the receiver room. Joining Hudson are Ellis Rogers (6-1, 180), Charles Allen (6-2, 190), and Eric Morrow (6-1, 200). All of these guys have D1 potential.
