Expected unofficials and camp names to watch
The final piece to our 5 part June visitor overview takes a look at some of the key names to know that we are expecting to see in College Station throughout the entirety of the month of June as unofficial visitors and/or campers. First off, there are going to be many more names come to campus than we have listed here. There's no way to get a grasp of every single D1 prospect that will be coming to camps. The unofficial visitors are a bit easier to get a hold of, but we'll likely be missing a handful of names, plus or minus. With that said, here's what we've been able to gather so far. It's still a pretty extensive list. If we've got dates of the visits, I'll add those as well. A slew of miscellaneous recruiting notes - Tuesday evening
The Texas A&M staff continues to comb the state and the country evaluating players and building relationships with HS coaches. Jason had an update this morning on OL coach Josh Henson who was making the rounds in Houston. LB coach Bradley Dale Peveto was on the east side of Houston as well today with stops at Dickinson and Clear Creek among a host of others. He's also been by Dayton (RJ Orebo's little brother Donovan Orebo is a 2022 prospect) and all through the Golden Triangle. My southeast Texas sources say Peveto is becoming a pretty common guest. BDP is from Orangefield so it makes sense that he's got strong ties to the area. From what I know, Peeve hit Nederland, PNG, LCM, West Orange Stark, Port Arthur Memorial, Beaumont West Brook, and Beaumont United. He's expected to make the rounds through Louisiana tomorrow.Staying in state, WR Coach Dameyune Craig was at A&M Consolidated today to see Devin Price. I was out there, too. I don't know if it's because he's TP's son or if it's that he's a local kid, but if his name was Devin Peters from North Shore, I think there would be a ton more buzz about this kid. He's really stinking good, and he keeps growing. He made 2-3 catches today that are on par with the best the state has to offer. Here are a couple of clips.https://twitter.com/r_brauninger/status/1123271207544135681?s=21https://twitter.com/r_brauninger/status/1123265920313561092?s=21https://twitter.com/r_brauninger/status/1123264652706754560?s=21From what I know, some of the big powers in the region (Arkansas, Oklahoma, Auburn) are balking because they believe it's a foregone conclusion that he'll be an Aggie. Devin is still sticking to his timeline of making a summer decision. He continues to talk to the A&M staff very consistently. Mike Elko and Elijah Robinson have hit a whole host of states this week and will continue to do so tomorrow. Elko has been in Louisiana, Tennessee, and Kentucky today and will head to the northeast tomorrow with Robinson to see Fadil Diggs, Isaiah Raikes, and one of the top safeties in the country, Jordan Morant. One stop Elko made today was with Vito Tisdale. Now, while Jason has heard that a commitment to Kentucky is likely in the near future, I heard today that Tisdale has plans to visit College Station in early June. It'll be very interesting to see how that plays out. Another out of state safety prospect the A&M staff would like to see in Aggieland is Antonio Johnson. He was scheduled to make a trip earlier this month, but there was a fire at his house that threw a wrench in a lot of his plans. A&M has built some solid relationships with both Johnson and Tisdale, but it's important, like it always is with out of staters, that they get them on campus to give themselves the best chance possible. Muscle Shoals (AL) LB Jackson Bratton remains committed to the home State Crimson Tide, but he's keeping his eyes open. It's no secret that the Bama depth chart is crowded at the linebacker spot. I think the Aggies get him back on campus. I was told today by an out of state source that A&M is actually recruiting Memphis (TN) big man Omari Thomas as a defensive lineman. He joins Raikes, McKinnley Jackson, and Jaquelin Roy among the group of interior out of state DL the Aggies are currently in the running for. I continue to hear things swing back and forth for Ft Bend Austin WR Troy Omeire. I think, based on what I've heard, there are folks around him who would like to undoubtedly see him in Aggieland. I also believe there are some Texas influences in there, as well. One thing I'm sure of though is that Omeire hasn't missed many days in the weight room this offseason. He's a big dude. https://twitter.com/troyomeire/status/1122854127246172160?s=21I was able to get some more info on Athens OL Garrett Hayes from a source in east Texas today. It sounds like things currently are between Arkansas and A&M. Hayes has really enjoyed the time he's spent getting to know Josh Henson and the talks he's had with Jimbo Fisher. Even with his mom's ties to A&M, the decision sounds like it will be all Garrett's, as it should be. He's also up to 295 from 275 since he's had to quit trying to make weight for power lifting.

Wednesday recruiting notes & quotes
- Aldine MacArthur CB Josh Eaton will be making a day trip to College Station tomorrow with Fast Houston coach Ro Simon. Eaton has been one of the fastest rising corners in the state in 2019. His offer list over the last couple of months has exploded. I'd put he and Little Elm's Ryan Watts in the same category of passing the eye ball test immediately at corner. Both guys make you say, "who is that" as soon as they walk in. - Staying the secondary, Baton Rouge (LA) ATH Joel Williams told me last night that he's planning a return trip to College Station in March, around the same time as he's planning to make a decision. A&M has been trending here as the in-state/town Tigers make a push. "I love Texas A&M, man," Williams told me. The 6-2, 180 pounder could play corner, safety, or wide receiver, but I'd bet he finds himself on the back end of a defense in college. - The Aggies offered one of the best interior offensive linemen on the West Coast yesterday as Myles Murao from Mater Dei HS (Santa Ana, CA). Murao checks in at just over 6-3 and 275 pounds. He holds offers from all the big programs out west as well Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Michigan, and a host of others. From what I know, he's been in communication with the A&M staff in the last couple of days about a summertime visit. It'd be big to get him on campus. - Another out of state, top end OL prospect that we haven't discussed is Broken Arrow (OK) stud Andrew Raym. OU and Notre Dame are the two out front right now, but I've learned that Raym is fond of Josh Henson, and the Aggie staff is in touch. Like Murao, getting Raym on campus would classify as a significant development. - A local source has indicated to me that Navasota OL Jordan Jefferson is looking to take some visits. I know he had been thinking about making a trip to Gainesville for Florida's junior day. - I spoke with Manor DL Princely Umanmielen this morning about his offer from A&M and what he thought of Terry Price and their relationship. Here's what he had to say:"When Coach Price called and offered me, I was really excited. Texas A&M is most definitely a school I will highly consider when it's time for me to make my commitment. I am currently building a relationship with Coach Price. We text everyday, and I call him about once a week.I think I'll be visiting College Station this Friday."- Don't forget that Oklahoma based DB Myles Slusher is expected in town this Friday, as well.- CB commit Jaylon Jones told me he's working to get to Aggieland again in order to help build that 2020 class as much as he can. He and Demond Demas have begun really communicating about their futures in College Station. - OL commit Josh Bankhead is looking at enrolling early and will meet with counselors next week to explore that option. Academically, it sounds like it's very feasible should Josh and his folks choose to make the move. - Don't look now, but RJ Orebo's younger brother Donovan Orebo is starting to grow...and run. The 2022 WR prospect placed second in the 200m in his first varsity track meet, and he's creeping up 6-3. Keep an eye on little brother.

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
