Why are we cool on our top 9 Texas prospects for 2022? Have we not started recruiting? I find it hard to believe with our on field success and trajectory with developing players.

It's too early. A lot of the guys are listed cool on everyone. A&M likely leads for 3 of those top 9, and have chances at 2-3 of the others.
Also, I doubt it's the same as jimbos top 9. He's had a different evaluation every year under recruiting.
