Update on the Zach Evans saga. At practice today, he got into it with some of his teammates and cussed a coach again. Coach Kay then added another game onto his suspension. Evans got pissed and quit the team.

Man, what a bad look for this kid. Sadly, he doesn't have a positive male role model in his life to give him advice and guide him. This will obviously get out and schools will be aware of this situation and his selfish attitude. Kudos to Coach Kay for putting his foot down and keeping discipline in the North Shore program, or this could fester with others if allowed to continue. What a sad end to Evans' HS football career.

Heck of a talent, but maybe we should rethink the offer to this kid.

Hopefully he comes back, the coaches beat the **** out of him, and he has a senior year. On a related note: do you think Orangebloods would be publishing this if they didn't think he ends up at a non-rival of tu?

Evans is gonna commit to Georgia, where he ends up after that is up in the air. But it'll most likely be Georgia in the end.

Hope he finds what he's looking for. At this point I'd like Fisher to land another stud RB like Ngata or EJ Smith.

No matter where he ends up, he will have plenty of positive male role models. Many of them will be his teammates especially the Juniors and seniors on the team.

He is at an elite talented running back. With the help of his teammates and coaches, I believe he will become a very positive minded person and do very well in college.

I don't think Evans is what is causing coaches to fear him. It is pissing off the North Shore program. LSU and Texas aren't going to do that.

Aggies back in the lead for Evans?

When he first teased his commitment to UGA, he mentioned that leaving his family (in Houston) was by far the hardest part of his decision. Think Jimbo & Co. are convincing him he doesn't need to?

He's taking an official visit to Florida next weekend. He's also taken official visits to Tennessee and Ole Miss in January, and we are still in the mix to some extent. Beyond that, it's probably just wild guesses at this point.
