The first year of it should be pretty interesting. The biggest benefit is we'll just have a much better idea of where we need to allocate resources to for the sprint to the February signing day.
We can cross out positions where we hit our targets where previously we might have had to spend time on contingency plans if a blue chip recruit was committed to us but still taking visits. We also won't waste time on blue chip recruits we might have thought we had an outside shot with and instead start evaluating/recruiting other options at that position if the blue chipper signs with other schools.
Aside from the occasional kid who has buyer's remorse between Dec/Feb, I think this will be much better for everyone.
