TWHS laid the wood on Round Rock. Hopefully take home their first state title. Got to battle Allen next week.

Temple upsets undefeated Manvel 24-23 in a back and forth thriller @ Jerryworld.

CRHS continues their cinderella season with a win over Cy-Ridge. They get Steele this week.

Lake Travis (Austin, Texas) vs. Atascocita (Humble) today at 3pm

West Orange-Stark beat previously unbeaten Navarro 49-7 last night. On the season WO-S has scored 787 points and only allowed 63 in 15 games. Their defense is ridiculous.

WO-S vs Sweetwater Friday at Noon at Jerry World for the 4a D2 State Championship.

Watching Denton Ryan vs Highland Park. Ryan's QB was knocked out of the game with a knee injury in Q2. Not quite fair watching Stephen Jones' kid (also named Stephen Jones) playing in Jerry's stadium.

Ryan just tied it at 21 in Q3.

HP up 31-24 in Q4. 7:24 to go.

Calallen was in the championship game in 2005. Did not win.

Went to see Temple play undefeated Foster yesterday and it was one of the best football games I ever saw on any level. Temple won it on an interception on their 2 with no time left on the clock to preserve a 31-24 score. Foster looked like they outweighed them 40 lbs a man in both OL and DL, but Temple was strong, quick and fast. They play Highland Park and looking at the records Temple clearly played superior teams to them all season, especially the last two who were both undefeated (Manvel being the other).

Consol had four losses this year, but in retrospect, a tough schedule. Losses to Foster, Temple, College Station and Ft Bend Marshall. All Regional Finalists or better.
