This will be our 5th time on Gameday since moving to the SEC. It will be 2nd time in 3 weeks, playing in a Top 10 matchup. Today, there are only 3 games matching top 25 teams, all SECW and, of course, all televised. Who would not want that kind of coverage?

Getting spanked by Bama every year is not going to turn the tide in recruiting. Recruits like championships and good coaching over TV time.

Then we have no excuse to lose any recruits to in state competition. Texas is a dumpster fire and about to fire their coach. Baylor was a legitimate threat until sh hit the fan. They are back to pre-Briles levels recruiting wise.. Houston aint gonna be anything once Herman leaves for USC.. They re not even a power five team though. I could see a recruit going to TCU if they're an offensive skill player maybe. That is IT. No excuses for a player making a decision to go to any instate school besides us.

Wake up....it's no longer about being the best team in Texas. If we want to compete in the SEC West and ever win a conference title, we need to stop Bama and LSU from taking Texas talent.

Who cares about being better than the BDF teams

Some of you don't seem to realize that tu has stolen several key defensive players this past few years that could have helped out. As much as some of you want to make fun of some BDF school, we missed out on some 4/5* LB's that, yes, our coaching staff wanted that decided to go to tu and play in the big 12

That was a really ****ing specific category, yet look at all the elite talent on this list. Even when you justify why certain guys committed to these schools over us there is still a lot of talent on the list. No way we should be losing out on 4*-5* in state talent to these schools. But tell me how I need to wake up. What say you?

Getting spanked by bama is not the issue. TCU sux, OU looks bad this year, texas sux and we are losing good kids to those schools. Our recruiting took a hit after the past few years and then the QB debacle. We have several transfers at BDF schools that are negatively recruiting against us. We had some major internal issues that make our program look bad. Hopefully Sumlin has corrected this and can win some back. Things got ****ed up under Sumlin's watch and we took a hit with instate recruiting.

Our current results have a bigger impact on high school juniors.

8.5 MM tv sets on the A&M/'Bama game and 6.5 MM on the A&M/Tennessee game. More than 3 times more than on the ou/tu Red River game. That is how much bigger our stage is in the SEC.
