Am I interpreting your stats correctly that ~15-20% of vaccinated people who end up in the hospital are dying? Isn't that rate worse than before the vaccines were rolled out? Random googling suggests ~10% as of late 2020/early 2021. Clearly the gross number who are hospitalized is greatly reduced, but wondering if there is some strange interplay between hospitalization and mortality for the vaccinated.

It's likely because people that are vaccinated that are getting seriously ill are people who are immunocompromised. These people probably have a high mortality rate with COVID. They likely often had the same bad outcomes this whole time, but the hospitalizations aren't diluted anymore by non-immunocompromised who are no longer getting seriously ill thanks to the vaccine.
