Didn't Canyon used to be the baseball school in NB?

Cat, proabably so, since 1983 is the last time the Unis went to the state playoffs. It is also their first baseball championship.

Way to go Unicorns. Class of '75. That's also three straight state champions from this region. Boerne 2004, Callalen 2005, and New Braunfels, 2006.

I always LOVED going to New Braunfels. We try to go almost every year.

CF for NBHS made an all-time highlight reel catch that was shown on SportsCenter.

That catch by the center fielder was on tonight. It was number 1 web gem and he talked to them on the air.

Any of you guys remember coach Peter Garza? He coach my son at the San Marcos Baptist Academy 2012 through 2015

I was the one who made that catch in the state game that was on ESPN! One of my best memories is winning that state title with my best friends from high school!

I google'd it and found out TexAgs had a thread on it probably 6 years before I joined the forums?? lol

I remember Peter Garza. I played for the Unicorns but he coached New Braunfels Canyon during this same time.
