keep in mind the ABS zone is bigger than the actual, real, defined strike zone. So is possible (I'm not watching live) that the balls are actually balls, but within that bufferAgEng06 said:

Yes, you're correct. All 3 that I saw in that inning were "in the zone" by less than half the width of the baseball... so definitely in that buffer zone.
