While we're talking about how we spent our summers, this move explains much of my summer activities as a youth. Didn't suck as bad as they all started out and I played pitcher, just like "Amanda."

I can remember as a kid visiting my aunt and uncle in Detroit in the late sixties and seeing gas prices in Toledo or Detroit that were either 17 or 19 cents per a gallon.

This was our text/Snapchat/Instagram...

Side Note: I once ate a note so that my teacher wouldn't read it...it had a drawing of him with a description of what we likened him to...an arsehole. Still got detention, but a whole lot less than it would have been.

missinAggieland: Howdy, ah Cliff Notes, as an OLD Ag must admit to their use. As a fish in 1966 holidays were the old school way. Thanksgiving was no exception and we, of course, played tu on Thursday. We had from Wednesday, Bon Fire to start of classes on Monday with the game on Thursday. My fish English prof assigned us to read Moby Dick over this holiday, yeah right. Headed to Ellison's Drug store in North Gate (you have to be an old to know where that was) and picked up a Cliff's notes on Moby Dick. Barely had time to read Cliff's Notes much less the entire novel. To this day cannot believe that he was dumb enough to assign that over the Thanksgiving holidays back then!

I still have never read Moby Dick and like father like daughter, I too used the Cliff Notes for my report. And I still have NO REMORSE!

We used sparknotes because they were free in high school. And then the prof caught on to it and all the questions on the test were not in them.

Actually, the whale is just a whale. Hatred and the relentless pursuit of revenge is what's bad.
