Y'all this is the week my daughter looks forward to every year. She just took her last final as a junior in HS. Packing up & heading to Hoover!
Going with only the expectations of watching baseball.
Let's go! BTHO everybody!

I'm seeing a trophy for everyone mentality by a few on here.
Same format that was used in softball. No one complained at that time. Go figure.
I'm fine with this set up. Places importance on the regular season.
I hate Globe Life so much. By far the worst game watching experience I have had at a baseball game.RED AG 98 said:
Brauny is hinting this thing maybe moves to Globe Life with the B12 no longer using it. I think I'm going to be sick -- not because Rangers but because concrete and plastic.

Doubt it. Hoover puts a lot into the tournament, I'll reckon they'll bid pretty well to keep it. Plus the hue and cry from the teams centered around Hoover would be great. Tournament will be in Hoover for three more years at least, as that's the contract.RED AG 98 said:

I don't know. They swept Mizzou, run-ruling them both. And Mizzou is tough, tough, tough!ensign_beedrill said:
We can beat Mississippi State.
If I'm the SEC I'd take more into account than bids. The fact that this tournament becomes a weather issue every year in Hoover gets old. I think I've watched games after midnight every year bc weather delays.ensign_beedrill said:Doubt it. Hoover puts a lot into the tournament, I'll reckon they'll bid pretty well to keep it. I don't know how long Big 12 is contracted to be in Surprise, but I think they're going to find out pretty quickly it's not a lot of fun being out in the desert sun all day and move back to Globe Life.
This would be a very satisfying week....ensign_beedrill said:
Two teams we haven't seen. We can beat Mississippi State. Auburn will be tough.
Then LSU, whom we've taken a series from. Check.
Likely Arkansas, whom we've also taken a series from. Check
It's all set up for a finale with t.u. in which we knock their socks off!! Let's go!!
Wasn't it a Kentucky player that was locked in the bathroom at Olsen during a game? A few years ago....dabo man said:

Will be interesting to see where UK's RPI goes. They were #35 before this loss.

Yes, but a loss helps us as they would be the team we need to pass in order to get into postseason.
