Damn that was brutal. I doubt either one of them were calling for the ball because it was going to be a really tough catch for either of them.

I wish I hadn't watched. That scared me even though I saw they were okay after!
KP and Burke have seen a ton on baseball and even they commented that this collision was a violent as any they have ever seen. I can't believe the CF stayed in the game. And the RF somehow managed to get up and throw the ball in. Glad it wasn't much worse because that could easily end up with someone in the ER.

Some asshat Jazz Hands fan in the row behind me starts yelling "run home! Run home!" The rest of the stadium had the air sucked out of lungs and were worried about the 2 players.

By rule, you can re-enter the game if you are being evaluated for concussion protocol specifically (as was the case here), not just any injury.
They interviewed Bianco 20-30 minutes later and they ruled him out. Cleared him of concussion but said he would not return today.

They should reexamine the hit batter rule and not count the ones where it hits some protective gear hanging down more than the elbow or other body part.

Could also just use the rule from other levels where the batter has to make an attempt to get out of the way, ball or strike. Putting on the full armor and then crowding the plate just isn't fun to watch to at all.
