Ford made a huge mistake by putting Vestal in the game. We did not play our best defense. We have got to get some pitching depth. Proud of the AGS because they never gave up. Kennedy is a tough pitcher and a darn good one.

I really feel if we had not run ourselves out of it in the 7th we would have won then. They were feeling the pressure and we had the momentum. Never do something that can take Big Mo away when you have it.

Not sure I'd go that far. These are fundamentals, sometimes in the heat of the moment, people just make stupid decisions. Can be the best coach and people will always find a way to f up.
I really doubt coach told them to do any of those things. Sometimes players make mistakes in the heat of the moment even when they've been coached on the proper play in practice.
