Obviously not everyone has a nickname and I don't think anyone outside of this board uses these. We try to just let them develop organically.
Bard - Shakespeare (I think this one is obvious)
Dettmer - Dirty (stolen from Claunch last year)
Haas - Haastile
Hogan - Hero
Kent - superfish
Laviolette - The Violence (we tried Mr Wellborn after fall ball but it just didn't stick)
Moss - Professional Hitter
Targac - Hammer (I think this was actually his HS nickname. We used Targatcha last year and I might switch back to it)
Thompson - Sparky (team started calling him sparkplug last year, I like Sparky better)
Tucker, Stanley - Tuck, King Tuck 2, Lord Stanley (we haven't really settled on one yet)
Wells - Sonic (first game when he came in for Minnich he ran so fast his legs looked like Sonic the hedgehog)
We also occasionally call Minnich "Minnich to win it"
We keep trying to find one for Werner but nothing works for long.
the hype to production ratio might have eclipsed adam smith from 13 years ago.jja79 said:PJYoung said:trouble said:
