This has been the problem, consistently.

Even when we manage two get a couple guys aboard, we take bad swings or we just look at strike 3 two batters in a row.

**** get those two outs of the lineup much less back to back.
Targac couldn't hit a ball off a ****ing tee. 0-11 what a weekend only positive he didn't hit into a double play. Maybe we should bunt em over.

This team plays with the same identity as our catchers throwing the ball back to the mound and Werner and Targac's approaches at the plate. Zero fire and zero competitiveness. Time to seriously shake this lineup up, play the kids with some heart and drive to do something.

Maybe "too close" but when it's not been a strike all day you're asking a lot of the batters to adjust in a single at bat. Neither of the 3rd "strikes" were all that close. Don't get me wrong, they were great pitches and exactly what you want a pitcher to execute.
