It's been fun watching Judge Chase Marris' record of 61 HRs. He currently sits at 60 to date. On Thursday of this week Wacha is scheduled to take the mound against him. Wacha is 11-1 this season with a 2.61 era.

It should be entertaining.

Did not realize Wacha was having such a strong year.. He has to be one of the few bright spots of a disappointing BoSox season.

It's likely a $100-$150M season for Wacha. Great time to have a great year.

On Fox tonight. Wacha off IR to face Yanks in NY. He's 11-1 with 2.61 ERA and 1.03 WHIP.

His previous three years were disasters, with Cards, Mets and Rays. I don't know what Sox saw in him, maybe he was finally healthy, but he's never pitched better. Could be comeback player of the year.

I hope he gets his $100M+ payday. And of course, beats the freaking Yankees tonight on national TV

It would still be the AL record, and because some still see the 'roid era records as bogus.

Also because he plays for the Yankees and the two players he's dancing around (Babe and Maris) we're Yankees.

Wacha has struggled the previous 3 seasons but he's only lost one of his 21 starts this season.
VERY impressive.

He developed a great changeup & it's currently his best pitch.

He is likely going to have one of the finest careers (if not THE finest) of any Aggie pitcher that ever pitched in the Majors when it's all said & done if he can stay healthy.

Heard he's a great guy, as well. Glad to see him succeeding.

He had a great change up here. Just had to figure out mlb which is obviously a different animal; very happy he's succeeding.

Everytime we spoke to Wacha, he was a wonderful young man.
