Yep. Even the years we did really well in the regular season, regionals, and super regionals, we still failed to win a game at the SEC tourney.

Should have won a game by now but SEC Softball Tournament is single elimination and unfortunately the Aggies have been on the short end of a number of one run games.

Season-by-season for the softball team since we've joined the SEC...yet never won a tourney game 'til this season.

2013
42-18, won a regional, lost in Supers

2014
37-22, went 2-2 in OU's regional

2015
40-20, went 2-2 in OU's regional again

2016
39-20, went 2-2 in ULL's regional...eliminated Texas along the way

2017
47-13...16-7 in SEC play...swept through the College Station regional...eliminated Texas along the way again...won the super at Tennessee, double dipping the Vols after losing game 1...went 0-2 in the WCWS

2018
44-18, won a regional, went 1-2 in #2 Florida's super regional

2019
28-27, went 0-2 in Texas' regional

2020
Covid

2021
32-23, went 1-2 at OU's regional

2022
Currently 29-25, finally won our first ever SECT game...we were #41 in the RPI before yesterday's win over #46 USCe...not sure what our RPI was in 2019, but do we sneak in with a crappy record like we did that year?

Falby doubled in the second and Grace came out for Emily. Falby then scored to make it 4-0 Florida. Our bats need to make statement but need to straighten out foul swings to do that.

My same exact question as well. She has not put up good numbers this year. She has almost double the walks compared to strikeouts.

Base running error from Wooley, 2 misplayed balls from Smith. This has been hard to watch, but still hopefull!

Lee's catching tonight, so that puts Torres at first. Uribe is batting around 0.170 while Torres is batting around 0.088. So that is probably why Uribe was batting..

We are a younger team and it showed. We settled in after Kennedy (a fish) came in and I think her velocity was likely part of the calming effect by denying Florida turning on the pitches. We held them scoreless with only 3 hits and 2 BB and zero errors after that.

Tough to win a game when you only get three hits. We did get six walks but seemed to have no strategy to score them. We do have several good young players that if they get the right coaching could make us relative again. It's now up to our administration to make the right personnel changes that will pull us out of this mediocre state. I believe the right hire will flip this program quickly and make us truly competitive at the highest level.

Why is Grace batting?

It's because we don't have 9 hitters on the team. She also bats because of our attempt to move players in the lineup. Not enough depth.
